Oct. 19 through Nov. 9 at 6:00 PM: a 4-week class for all ages, students will take a design from a basic sketch to a finished set of prints using our communal print studio setup.

You’ll learn how to:
Prepare Your Screen: Learn how to degrease mesh frames, coat screens with light-sensitive photo emulsion in a darkroom, and handle and store them properly.
Create Your Stencil : Explore both hand-drawn/cut-paper stencils and photographic exposure (“burning” a screen) using transparent film positives.
Mix Inks and Colors: Understand registration techniques to align prints accurately, mix custom ink colors, and use a squeegee correctly to pull clean prints.
Clean-up and Reclaim Your Screen: Practice washing out ink, removing emulsion, and reclaiming screens so the frame and fabric can be reused for future projects.

All materials, equipment, and tools are included in the price of the class.
